A SIMPLE DESIGN TO CREATE HOT WATER
1. A fan draws air through an evaporator. Thermal energy within the air is transferred to a liquid refrigerant causing it to change into a vapor.
2. The refrigerant vapor is then drawn into a compressor which increases the pressure and, as a result, increases the temperature.
3. A condenser (heat exchanger) then transports the refrigerant around the outside of the water tank. This heats the water inside the tank and the gaseous refrigerant reverts back into a liquid.
4. The pressure of the refrigerant is reduced as it goes through an expansion valve and returns to the evaporator for the process to start all over again.

BENEFITS FROM GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES:
Pricing does not include any STC discounts.
Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) are a financial incentive to encourage the installation of solar and heat pump water heaters under a Federal Government operated scheme.
STCs are available for solar & heat pump installations in every state of Australia. The number of STCs that the solar/heat pump is eligible for depends on your location (postcode), the size of the tank and the installation date. To see how many STCs you would be eligible for please follow the link below.
STC Calculator
The Energy Hub are registered STC traders and we can purchase your STCs at the given market price upon completion of installation provided that all required documentation is completed and returned to us within 12 months of installation.
Note STC value is subject to fluctuation.
Example: A Stiebel Eltron WWK 302 is installed by a licenced plumber in Cairns, QLD 4870 on 25th May 2020 - that unit is entitled to 24 STCs. The Energy Hub would provide a price that we are willing to purchase those STCs for, lets say we offer $36, this would mean that once all paperwork was approved you would receive $864.00 back for the STCs. (24 x $36.00).
